Bethany Rose, age 30, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Friday, June
24, 2016 in the Hospice Suite at the Wayne County Hospital.

Barry Rook and Clarissa Diane (Foster) Parmley who survive.
She is survived by her husband—Phillip Rose; her children—Cadyn,
Riley, Colton, Hagan, and Shady Rose; one brother—Kyle Parmley; one

Foster.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents—Oliver and
Lydia Parmley
She and her husband Phillip were faithful members of Faith United
Baptist Church where she dedicated her life and was baptized at a
young age.
She was a steadfast Christian and believed in the power of God and
prayer. Even in illness, she was known to sign herself out of the
hospital so she could attend her church's worship service.
She was a woman of many talents and skills. She was crafty and was
by some called a "fashionista." To her, she was capable of anything.
Her work experience included several things—C.N.A., receptionist,
cashier, and also worked for the local paper.
She had a fierce love for her husband, children, and family. For
those who knew her best she was known to be "strong willed,"
"stubborn," and "her way was the way" type. She was a fighter
through all of her troubles and illness, and was quoted often as
saying, "I won't be a statistic" or "Don't stop living because you're
sick."
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the
funeral home chapel with Bro. Daniel Richardson, Bro. Terry Munsey,
and Bro. Henry Stringer officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring
Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of
sympathy take the form of donations to: Faith United Baptist Church
Youth Group
Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
