Mrs. Deen Gregg, age 81, of Somerset, Ky. passed from this life on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Ky. She is the widow of the late John Gregg.
She was born on September 28, 1935 in Knoxville, Tenn. to the late William Boling and Beulah Lewellyn.
She was a retired Press Operator at the old Palm Beach Factory in Somerset.
She enjoyed sewing, needle work, puzzle books, word search books and spending time with her family.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husbandJohn Gregg; and a grandsonAdam Greer.
She is survived by her sonsMike (Marcia) Gregg of Indianapolis, Ind. and Tim (Linda) Gregg of Knoxville, Tenn.; two daughtersKaren Gregg of Ferguson, Ky. and Wendy (Terry) Crabtree of Monticello, Ky.; her sistersDelores Seals, Mary (Bob) Ramsey all of Knoxville, Tenn. and Betty Crawford of Kingston, Tenn.; nine grandchildrenMichael, Steven, Jonathan, Deena, Aaron, Heather, Timmy, Josh and Caden; eleven great-grandchildrenBrandyce, JJ, John, Jayden, Will, Henry, Andrew, Gaven, Lauren, Brantley, and Keaton; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harvey Atkinson officiating.
Burial was in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
