Donald Royce Richardson, age 79, was born December 16, 1937. He was the son of the late Oran and Mabel (Jones) Richardson. He departed this life on Sunday evening June 11, 2017 in his home with his wife Hilda (Correll) Richardson at his side.
He spent the most of his career life working in the hardwood timber and lumber industry.
He had an insatiable entrepreneurial spirit and was also involved in numerous other business ventures. For Don, these were his adventures.
He farmed and raised cattle, and operated a hunting and fishing camp in Saskatchewan, Canada.
He also operated service stations, retail stores, was involved in country music entertainment, real estate and land development, and community service.
He was a pilot for many years and was an avid outdoorsman. He was very accomplished at most every skill he acquired.
He was especially known for his hunting and fishing skills and
experiences over North America.
He also loved growing fruits and vegetables, always respecting the wonders of God's creation.
From Northern Canada to Florida, from the east coast to the west as far as Nevada, he leaves behind many friends from his lifetime of sport and business.
He also leaves behind a large extended family spanning three more generations.
