Geneva Crouch, age 73, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Suite at the Wayne County Hospital.
She was born September 7, 1943 in Monticello, Ky. the daughter of the late James and Lola (Corder) Ramsey.
She married John Crouch who survives her in death.
She is survived by her daughter—Paula Gregory; two grandchildren—Sarah Smith and Aaron Gregory (Kalissa); one great-granddaughter—Hannah Smith; and one brother—Oval Ramsey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister—Janette Oatts.
She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. She was very creative and loved working with her hands, especially basket-weaving,cross-stitching and quilting.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tommy Floyd officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
