Glennis Fay King Hill, was born November 11, 1941 in Pine Knot, Ky. the daughter of the late Mack and Julie Edna Jones King. She departed this life Tuesday afternoon, August 8, 2017 at the
Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. reaching an age of 75 years.
She was united in marriage with Hobert Hill who precedes her in death. Surviving are eight childrenMary Duncan, Bonnie Moore, Tommy Hill, Gregory and his wife Sharon Hill, Melvin Hill, Ricky Hill, Randy and his wife Willadean Hill, and Tena and her husband Garnett Ping.
She is preceded in death by her sonBobby King.
Also surviving are her grandchildrenTravis Moore, Sumer Duncan, Joshua Ping, Garren Dodson, Jarren Duncan, Chandler Hill, Bridgette Hill, Brandy King, Dawson Hill, Baylie Hill, Davion Hill, Brodi Hill and Allie Ping; great grandchildrenAzlynn Duncan, Rosalyn Dodson, and Parker Moore; and her daughter-in-lawBecky King.
She was the last surviving member of the Mack and Julie King family.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Old Charity Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ulanda Price officiating. Burial was in the Sloan Valley Cemetery.
