Imogene Kendrick, age 82, was given earthly life by her parents, Floyd and Zella Bell Anderson, on October 14, 1933. She entered into eternal life October 11, 2016 at the Wayne County Hospital.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sons—David (special friend,Debbie) and Michael, both of Monticello, Ky.; one grandson—J.D.(Johnna) of Louisville, Ky.; one brother—Earl "Bud" (Bess) Anderson; a nephew—Roger (Lisa) Anderson of Melbourne, Fla.; and two aunts,many cousins and close friends who were near and dear to her.
Preceding her in death were her husbands—Willard Worley, Doug
Kendrick and Jack Kendrick.
She was a faithful wife, caring daughter, loving mom, doting granny,special sister and aunt, and wonderful friend.
She was a self-employed beautician for over 40 years.
She enjoyed cooking and sharing daily meals with David and Michael; cooking and serving weekly meals (especially chicken and dumplings)for her church family at First Christian; and helping and sharing with others who needed her assistance.
She enjoyed reading in her pastime and traveling, especially the annual Gatlinburg and Florida trips.
She will be greatly missed by family, friends, church family and all who knew her.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Monticello with Bro. Joe Tipton officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
