James Randall "Jim" Hawkins, age 58, of Albany, passed away
Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
He was born in New Castle, Ind. on May 8, 1958 to the late Elmer,
Jr. and Annabelle (Choate) Hawkins.
For 20 years he was employed by the New Castle Street Department.
For the past 15 years he had been employed by Wayne County School
System in Monticello.
Survivors include his daughter—Angie Hall (Jeff) of Hagerstown,
Ind.; two grandsons—Levi Hall and Bryan Hall; his long time companion—
Terry Burgess; siblings—Robert Darling of Smyrna, Tenn., John Hawkins
of Greenfield, Ind. and Greg Hawkins of New Castle, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a son—James R. Hawkins "Jamie"; and two
siblings—Larry Darling and Diane Darling.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 16, 2016 at noon in the
funeral home chapel with Chaplin Mark Herbkersman and Pastor Paul
Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery, Hagerstown.
