Kenneth Erwin Catron
Kenneth Erwin Catron passed away on Friday evening, November 15, 2019 at his home in the Alpha Community of Wayne County.
He was a lifelong resident of Wayne County and the son of the late Jim and Lola Catron of the Windy community.
He married Margie Poore on November 16, 1960. She preceded him in death five years ago.
He is survived by two nephews-George and Carl Hicks, also from the Alpha community.
He was widely known as a business man, being in the radio and TV repair business at one time.
He was also known for his craftsmanship in woodworking, making musical instruments such as guitars, violins and dulcimers.
Most of all, he was widely known as a Bible teacher and an elder in the Monticello Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He dedicated his life to God's service on May 27, 1973 and he and
his wife, Margie spent much of their time in public witnessing of
their faith.
He served the Monticello Congregation as an elder since May 1983.
Memorial services were held for Ken Catron on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Monticello Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
