Michelle Lee Carrender, age 45, of Bronston, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on August 17, 1971, in Somerset, daughter to Brenda Light Mayfield and the late Clovis Mayfield.
She was a food service worker at Oakwood.
Her world revolved around her kids and grandkids.
She enjoyed reading and attended Harvest Time Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband—Steven Carrender, whom she married October 27, 1990 ; her mother—Brenda Light Mayfield, of the Cedar Grove Community; sons—Chris (Jessica) Carrender, of Somerset, Andrew (fiancé Cassie Birmingham) Carrender, of Bronston, Daniel Carrender, of Bronston, Devon Baker, of Nancy; a daughter—Emalee Baker, of Nancy; sisters—Marsha Turpin, of Cedar Grove community, Melissa Spivey, of Tenn., Mandy Hardwick, of Bronston; grandchildren—Tyler Carrender, MacKenzie Carrender, Aries Carrender, Michael Carrender; mother-in-law and father—Gary and Norma Hardwick, of Bronston; close friend—Brittany Blankenship and her children, of Whitley City; and
like a sister—Tammy Baker, of Nancy.
Preceding her in death was her father—Clovis Mayfield: a daughter—Chelsea Carrender; grandparents—Leonard and Mary Mayfield; and grandfather—Leland Wright.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 24, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery, Kidder, Ky.
