May 17, 1951—Jan. 27, 2016 Milton Benjamin Slavin, age 64, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born May 17, 1951 at Cooper, Ky. He was the son of the late Oliver Dewitt Slavin and Ruby Cooper Slavin. He is survived by two sons—Eli Slavin of Dallas, Texas and Matthew (Miri) Slavin of GrosBostheim, Germany; grandson—Noah Slavin; and granddaughter—Elisa Slavin also of Germany. He is also survived by four sisters—Betty Antrobus, Noble, Okla., Ellyn Jones, Marietta, Ga., Juanda Meeks, Hull, Texas., Pat Dotson, Gentry, Ariz.; one brother—Wayne Slavin of Auburn, Ind.; and sisters- in-law—Erlinda Slavin and Lila Slavin, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his older brother—Estil Slavin and three infant siblings. He was kind, thoughtful and generous to all. He was retired from Time-Warner. He loved his family and friends and especially delighted in his grandchildren. He enjoyed reading, golfing, football and gardening. Until we meet again at that greatest family reunion, he will be missed. Memorial services honoring his life were held on February 4, 2016 in Noble, Okla. and on February 10, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial services are planned for a later date in Monticello, KY.
